Black and blue fruits drive the aroma initially in this Sonoma Coast Syrah, with slight gamy characters, garrigue, blond tobacco, and lilac aromas. Tasting the wine one finds ripe blueberry and black currant flavors, and tannins that express the wine’s mountaintop sourcing. This dense and spicy Syrah was crafted in a style reminiscent of the great wines of the Northern Rhône Valley.
"The aroma in the 2019 is delicate, showing hints of wildflowers and lemon peel. On the palate, the wine is seamless and elegant. Quince and lemon pith flavors are complemented by a light, chalky undertone and a long mineral finish." - Tiaan Lordan, Winemaker
Made predominantly from grapes grown at the Fog Dance Vineyard, a vineyard designate of its own, this memorably delicious wine is light in color and delicately inviting in tangerine, peach and strawberry. Stainless steel fermented, it remains crisp on the palate with just a touch of orangesicle richness on the finish. Editors’ Choice Virginie Boone, Wine Enthusiast, June/July 2021
"Our 2014 Zinfandel Port exhibits a complex nose of cherry cordial, black fruits interlaced with candied orange zest and anise. Ripe blackberry, black cherry and mocha flavors are framed by nutmeg and ends with a rich sweet finish. To preserve the depth of character and intensity of flavors, this wine was neither fined nor filtered." - Jeff Stewart, Winemaker
