2016 Hartford Outer Limits Syrah

92 Points

"The 2016 Syrah Outer Limits comes from southwest-facing vines on the Sonoma Coast, planted in Goldridge soils at 680 feet in elevation. It was matured for 21 months in 41% new French oak and aged a further two years in bottle. Deep ruby-purple, it has pure scents of cassis, coffee beans, bitter chocolate, mint leaves and grilled meats. The full-bodied palate is plush and powerful, with a classy streak of new oak spices and a long, slightly flinty finish. Despite being the current release of Syrah from Hartford Court, it could still use plenty more time in bottle! ." - Erin Brooks, Robert Parker Wine Advocate, July 2022

2017 Hartford Russian River Valley Zinfandel Port

"Our 2017 Zinfandel Port exhibits a complex nose of cherry cordial, back fruits interlaced with candied orange zest and anise.  Ripe blackberry, black cherry, and mocha flavors are framed by nutmeg and ends with a rich, sweet finish.  To preserve the depth of character and intensity of flavors, the wine was neither fined nor filtered." - Jeff Stewart and Tiaan Lordan, Winemakers

2020 Jurassic Vineyard Chenin Blanc

The aroma in the 2020 is delicate, showing hints of wildflowers and lemon peel. On the palate, the wine is seamless and elegant. Quince and lemon pith flavors are complemented by a light, chalky undertone and a long mineral finish.

2021 Russian River Valley Rosé

94 Points

Quenching in acid-driven flavors of Meyer lemon, tangerine and grapefruit, this is a lovely, bright, light and complex wine of great structure and refinement. A lasting note of wet stone adds to the beautiful texture. - Virginie Boone, Wine Enthusiast, Spring 2022
