2015 Hartford Outer Limits Syrah

95 Points

It can be hard to find coastal Syrah, so this hearty version from the producer’s Far Coast Vineyard stands out in several ways. It is lifted in tones of dried herb, lavender and garrigue, with a meaty midpalate that is notable in blueberry and game flavors. Supple, integrated tannins and oak accents surround it all. — Virginie Boone, Wine Enthusiast, August 2021

2019 Jurassic Vineyard Chenin Blanc

93 Points

"The 2019 Old Vine Chenin Blanc Jurassic Vineyard is gorgeous. Bright and savory, with tons of character, the Chenin is exquisite. Dried pear, mint, sage, anise, and lemon peel are all laced together in a wine of striking beauty. I haven't always been impressed when Hartford ventures outside their Sonoma comfort zone, but this Santa Barbara Chenin is certainly a welcome addition to the range." - Antonio Galloni, Vinous, July 2021

2014 Hartford Russian River Valley Zinfandel Port

90 Points

Made from old-vine grapes grown at Jolene’s and Fanucchi vineyards this wine was then fortified with Germain-Robin brandy. Viscous, unctuous, and softly textured, it tastes of blackberry cobbler, nutmeg, gingerbread, and Christmas spice. — Virginie Boone, Wine Enthusiast, August 2021

2020 Russian River Valley Rosé

94 Points

Made predominantly from grapes grown at the Fog Dance Vineyard, a vineyard designate of its own, this memorably delicious wine is light in color and delicately inviting in tangerine, peach and strawberry. Stainless steel fermented, it remains crisp on the palate with just a touch of orangesicle richness on the finish. Editors’ Choice Virginie Boone, Wine Enthusiast, June/July 2021
