Hartford Family Winery is in Forestville in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County California owned by Jenny and Don Hartford and their children Hailey Hartford Murray and MacLean Hartford.

Small Single Vineyard Bottlings

We specialize in small bottlings of high personality single vineyard designated Hartford Court labeled Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, and Hartford labeled Old Vine Zinfandels. Single Vineyard wines are typically less than 300 cases each and are highly allocated – most selling almost exclusively to Wine Club customers.   

High Risk High Reward Vineyard Sites

Beginning over 25 years ago, the winery planted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in cool, marginal areas in Northern California. The Winery thinks of its vineyards as unique, “high risk – high reward sites” where the site’s adversity works to build memorable characteristics in our wines.  

Old Vine Zinfandel Vineyard Treasures

The Winery’s Single Vineyard Zinfandel bottlings are from our Estate and neighbors 100+ year old heirloom Russian River Valley Vineyards.  In 2016 Hartford’s 2014 Russian River Valley Zinfandel was the Number 10 Wine on the Wine Spectator’s TOP 100 WINES OF THE YEAR.
