Jennifer’s Vineyard

Jennifer’s Vineyard is named after co-proprietor Jennifer Hartford. The Jennifer’s Chardonnay Vineyard is from a block in an estate owned vineyard located in the Sebastopol Hills sub-region of the Russian River Valley AVA. This region and vineyard are known for their cool climate, goldridge soils and windy conditions on the edge of the Petaluma Wind Gap.

"The 2015 Chardonnay Jennifer's comes from a site south of Sebastopol, which is a cooler terroir. Harvest is normally 3-4 weeks later than what they find in the Russian River Valley. All from Wente clone and brought up in just 28% new French oak, it has a vibrant freshness and purity, with lots of salty minerality in its mango, orange blossom, caramelized citrus all soaring from the glass. Fresh, lively and pure, with remarkable purity and elegance, it's going to keep for a decade as well." - Jeb Dunnuck, June 2018

"Medium to deep ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Hartford Court Pinot Noir Jennifer's leaps from the glass with exuberant raspberry preserves, cranberry tart and black forest cake notes with touches of wild thyme, red roses and menthol.  Medium to full-bodied, the palate simply sings of red and black berry flavors complimented with dried herbs and savory notes, supported by firm, very fine-grained tannins and great freshness, finishing very long and  perfumed.  Should age wonderfully!" - Lisa Perotti-Brown, Robert Parker The Wine Advocate, December 2017
