2023 Hartford Court Jennifer's Vineyard Pinot Noir

96+ Points

"Moving back to the Russian River Valley, the 2023 Pinot Noir Jennifer's Vineyard is a medium ruby color and is more expressive, primary, and floral in this vintage, with notes of mixed berries, crushed roses, and sweet herbs. The palate reveals more tension and brightness and is more approachable and open than the nose suggests, with bright acidity, well-defined tannins, and hints of citrus and dried herbs on the finish. I would give this one another year to allow its more savory and layered depth to unfold. Drink 2026-2046." - Audrey Frick, jebdunnuck.com, July 2025

97 Points

"The 2022 Jennifer's Chardonnay pops from the glass with vibrant notes of fresh pineapple, honeydew melon, and lemongrass with suggestions of wet pebbles and fresh ginger plus a waft of lime blossom. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers amazing tension, with super-intense tropical and citrus fruit flavors, finishing long and zesty...Jennifer’s Chardonnay is sourced from a dramatic, steep-sloped vineyard in the windy and very cool Sebastopol Hills neighborhood of the Russian River Valley AVA. The block was planted to Old Wente selection Chardonnay in 2005...." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent, April 2024

2023 Hartford Court Jennifer's Vineyard Chardonnay

95 Points

"From Russian River Valley, the 2023 Chardonnay Jennifer's Vineyard is a bright golden/yellow color and offers ripe notes of dark wet stones, grilled pineapples, baking spice, honeyed citrus, and candied ginger. The full-bodied palate delivers persistent driving tension and acidity, with the power you expect to see from the rich ripeness of the Russian River Valley but the tension and acidity from cooler sites. It has a powerful feel and is built to last over the coming 10-12 years." - Audrey Frick, jebdunnuck.com, July 2025
