2019 Hartford Court Fog Dance Vineyard Pinot Noir

Exuberant aromas of berries, black cherry, and exotic spice aromatics are supported by bright flavors of red and black cherry, blood orange, and soy. Velvety, fine-grained tannins complement a long finish with subtle clove and citrus nuances.- Jeff Stewart & Tiaan Lordan, Winemakers

2018 Hartford Court Fog Dance Vineyard Chardonnay

95 Points

"Slightly more pear and honeyed peach fruits, as well as honeysuckle, sappy green herbs, and a subtle sense of minerality, emerge from the 2018 Chardonnay Fog Dance Vineyard, a more focused, elegant wine from the cooler Green River section of the Russian River Valley. The purity of fruit is spot on, I love its overall balance, and this crisp yet rich 2018 is going to keep for 5-7 years, if not longer. " - Jeb Dunnuck,, July 2021

2019 Hartford Court Fog Dance Vineyard Chardonnay

96 Points

"With a delicate opening of vibrant acidity, this wine offers an all-around ethereal quality of sea air and salty stone. Earthy, herbal and fruity in lime and blood orange, it packs a powerful punch of complex oak and structure that finds its way to a place of balance." —Virginie Boone, Wine Enthusiast, May 2022

Our Fog Dance Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are from our organically farmed, estate-owned Pinot Noir vineyard on the rolling hills located just to the east of Green Valley Creek in the Russian River Valley. This gorgeous Pinot Noir vineyard was planted in 1996 upon Goldridge fine sandy loam soils to several Dijon clones: 667, 777 and 115.  The stunningly beautiful Chardonnay vineyard was planted in 1998 using Dijon Chardonnay Clone 96 and ENTAV 809.

The Fog Dance Vineyard is thus called because of the dance performed by the Pacific fog, drifting through the vineyards and back again to the sea each day.
