"A darker ruby color, the 2023 Pinot Noir Maclean's Block reveals a deeper aromatic profile, with notes of cherry cordial, mossy earth, pressed flowers, sage, and dark stones. The palate is light on its feet but has a more expansive and velvety, even texture, and while it’s more savory and deep, it has a lovely floating feel. Coming from the Green Valley of the Russian River, the 2023 Pinot Noir Hailey's Block is a transparent ruby red color and is pretty and floral on the nose with notes of wild strawberries, tarragon, fresh roses, and sweet herbal perfume. Medium-bodied, it’s elegant and refined on the palate, with a floating feel, fine tannins, even acidity, and a clean, fruity finish. Another Oregon wine from the Eola-Amity Hills in the Willamette Valley, the 2023 Pinot Noir Warrior Princess is a bright ruby hue with a light watery rim. The nose opens to focused and mineral-infected aromas of wet stones, petrichor, wild raspberries, fresh spices, and oral perfume. There is a wonderful combination of power and elegance in the 2023 Docker Hill Pinot Noir. The nose has dark cherry and intense raspberry aromas with a hint of forest, and subtle garrigue. The fruit flavors build in the mouth, showing bright red fruits, with savory herb and spice complexity.
