Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Advocate, April 2017
"The Highwire Vineyard has 100-year-old vines with half of the parcel being head-trained and half-trained on a high wire, permitting greater sun exposure and promoting more even ripening. It is aged for 12 months in French oak, 43% new, and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Zinfandel Highwire Vineyard offers crushed blackberries and cassis notes with a subtle prune laced undercurrent plus spice box, black soil and potpourri hints. The concentrated, full-bodied palate is densely packed with dried berry and baking spice flavors with plush tannins and a lively lift to the long finish."
Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, October 2015
The 2014 Dina’s Vineyard Zinfandel (350 case) displays loads of minerality compared to some of the other ones, with a huge concentration of black fruits, roasted Mediterranean herbs, spice box, licorice and some pepper and meat. This is a powerful, full-throttle Zinfandel to drink over the next 7-8 years.
Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, October 2016
"The 2015 Zinfandel Hartford Vineyard comes from head-trained vines planted over 100 years ago, and the incredibly low-yielding. The wine was aged in 100% French oak, of which 50% is new, and like all these wines, was bottled, unfined and unfiltered. This is a big wine at 15.2% natural alcohol, but there's not a bit of heat to it. Its flamboyant, dramatic aromatics consist of black fruits, red fruits, licorice, roasted herbs, and smoked game. The wine has fabulous fruit on the attack, is full-bodied, and the red and black fruit combo follows through to a long finish of a good 40+ seconds. This is a stunner to drink over the next 6-10 years."
"The 2015 Zinfandel Fanucchi-Wood Road Vineyard (another century-old parcel in the Russian River) shows tart acids, tangy red and black cherry fruit, notes of roasted meat, crushed pepper, and briary, zesty, classic Zinfandel flavors that tip the scales at 15.5% natural alcohol. This is big, juicy, succulent Zinfandel with great acid. Drink it over the next decade." - Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate, October 2016
“This is what Russian River Zinfandel is all about. Rich, dynamic and layered, with complex fruit, offering notes of jammy black raspberry, stony mineral, herbes de Provence and licorice. The finish unfurls at length. Drink now through 2026” – Wine Spectator, 2017 #21 on Wine Spectator's Top 100 List, November 2017
The 2014 Vintage of this wine scored 93 Points from Wine Spectator and was named to their Top Ten Wines of the World List for 2016

The 2014 Zinfandel Jolene's Vineyard is aromatic, lifted and nuanced, with pretty earthy, savory undertones that add complexity. This is an especially gracious mid-weight Zinfandel. A host of bright red stone fruit and pomegranate notes add the closing shades of nuance.
