92 Points - "The 2013 Pinot Noir Land's Edge Vineyards is soft, open and expressive, all of which suggest it is best enjoyed over the next few years. Dark red cherry, plum, spice and a hint of new oak meld together on the supple finish. The Land's Edge is a blend of fruit from Far Coast and Seascape, and is a great introduction to the house style."
Antonio Galloni, January 2015

97 Points - "Another prodigious effort is the 2012 Pinot Noir Arrendell Vineyard (nearly 300 cases produced), which comes from a site planted with the Martini clone of Pinot Noir in 1975. According to Don Hartford, this vineyard struggles to produce one ton of fruit per acre. This dense ruby/purple-colored 2012 offers up a big, sweet kiss of blackcurrants, black cherries, camphor, forest floor and violets. Round, opulent, full-bodied and lush with stunning purity and texture as well as a multidimensional personality, this unfined, unfiltered beauty can be enjoyed over the next decade."

96 Points - "An outrageously superb effort, the 2012 Pinot Noir Far Coast Vineyard sees 25% new oak. It offers a flowery, black cherry, forest floor and underbrush-scented bouquet. Deep, full-bodied, stunningly concentrated, pure, rich and expansive on the palate, this knock-out wine should drink well for 10 years."

93 Points - "The beautiful perfume of the 2012 Pinot Noir Fog Dance Vineyard offers notes of red and blackcurrants, plums, Asian soy, forest floor and hints of clove and spice. Medium to full-bodied and ripe, this compelling, delicious Pinot can be enjoyed over the next 7-8 years."
Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate, December 2014

96 Points - "The 2012 Pinot Noir Hailey’s Block comes from a cold, windy area in Green Valley. In reality, it is a sub-portion of the Arrendell Vineyard. The wine, which sees 44% new French oak, possesses stunning intensity as well as notes of spring flowers, raspberries, wild strawberries and sweet black cherries, a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, and a broad, savory richness. Drink 2015-2025"

90 Points - "Bright red. Zesty red berry and Asian spice scents are complemented by deeper-pitched notes of licorice and mocha. Shows vibrancy and tension on the palate, offering bitter cherry and redcurrant flavors and a touch of earthiness. Closes tangy and long, with slow-building tannins lending shape."

91 Points - "From the coldest site, the 2012 Pinot Noir Seascape Vineyard reveals a dark ruby color along with lots of spice box, pomegranate, red currants, smoky herbs and forest floor notes. Savory with excellent richness and vibrant acidity, it can be drunk over the next 5-6 years."

91 points - "Vivid ruby-red. Pungent aromas of cherry pit, vanilla and beetroot are civilized by a suave oral nuance. Juicy and nervy on the palate, oering zesty redcurrant and bitter cherry avors that gain sweetness with air. Closes tangy and long, with gentle tannins coming on late."
Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May/June 2014

91 Points - "Vivid ruby-red. Powerful aromas of black raspberry, Indian spices, anise and violet are complemented by a smoky mineral quality. Fleshy, gently sweet red and dark berry flavors become more tangy with air and pick up an exotic floral pastille nuance. This weighty but lively pinot finishes with supple tannins, repeating spiciness and very good persistence." - Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar, May/June 2014

91-92 Points - "Dark ruby. Pungent, spice-accented aromas and flavors of bitter cherry, cola and Indian spices. Sappy, penetrating and pure, with a note of star anise gaining power with air. Closes on a smoky note, with impressive cling, chewy tannins and persistent sweetness."
Stephen Tanzer's, International Wine Cellar, May/June 2013
