This Chardonnay exhibits aromas of citrus zest, Fuji apple and chamomile aromatics. The flavors move towards whitepeach, apple skin, lively acidity and a firm structure that expresses its mountain sourcing.

"
From a fogshrouded vineyard nearly 1,500 feet above sea level, this wine features lively stone fruit, citrus, and savory herbs on the nose. Subtle flavors convey apple, white nectarine, cinnamon, orange-vanilla cream, and racy acidity to finish."
Tonya Pitts, Wine Enthusiast Magazine, March 2026

Vineyard & Vintage Character

The DuPratt Vineyard is nestled among Coastal Redwoods at 1500 feet in the Mendocino Ridges AVA. The vineyard was planted in the early 1980s. This is a high elevation site in an AVA often called “Islands in the Sky”. Only elevations above 1200 feet are included, and it is the only non-contiguous AVA in America. This site is well known for Zinfandel but produces sublime Chardonnay as well.
