We are very excited to announce the release of our 2003 Hartford Sonoma Coast Syrah. We haven't released a Syrah since 1999, so this special vintage is cause for celebration.
Tasting Notes
The 2003 vintage was sourced from our Annapolis Estate Vineyard located on a wind-swept ridge top near the Pacific Ocean. It is 100% Syrah and offers smokey black fruit and lilac aromas, supported by ripe boysenberry and black raspberry flavors. Dense and spicy, it was crafted in a style reminiscent of the great wines of the northern Rhone Valley and has been bottled unfined and unfiltered.
