2007 Hartford Court Pinot Noir
Fog Dance Vineyards, Green Valley of Russian River Valley
Tasting Notes
Pure aromas of Queen Anne cherries, rose petals and cinnamon are supported by bright flavors of red raspberries, Griotte cherries and allspice. Velvety, fine grained tannins complement a long, cinnamon and allspice finish.
Acclaim
93 Points - "Deep red. Seductively perfumed bouquet of red berry preserves, five-spice powder and flowers. Juicy raspberry and cherry flavors are framed by silky tannins and gain weight with aeration. Richer black raspberry and kirsch qualities dominate the long, seductively sweet finish. Offers an impressive blend of power and vivacity." Josh Raynolds, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May 2009
Vineyard Character
Our family farms several vineyards in Green Valley, the source of Fog Dance Vineyards Pinot Noir. We named this Pinot Noir
in respect for the dance performed by the Pacific Ocean fog, drifting through the vineyards and back again to the sea each day.
This wine reflects its cool Green Valley terroir, showing the brightness and purity of cherry and cranberry flavors along with an elegant and refined texture.
