2006 Hartford Zinfandel
Dina's Vineyard, Russian River Valley
3 Bottle Limit
Tasting Notes
The 2006 Dina’s Vineyard Zinfandel shows deep, dark colors along with highly focused blackberry and blueberry aromas
and flavors with a broad multi-layered texture and wet stone finish. Dina’s Vineyard Zinfandel is also among the most
age-worthy of all of our Zinfandels.
Acclaim
94 Points - "My favorite of this group, is the 2006 Zinfandel Dina’s Vineyard (15.8% alcohol). From another 100-year-old parcel of seven acres of head-trained, dry-farmed vines, this wine offers copious quantities of raspberry and blueberry fruit, a full-bodied, peppery, spicy personality, and oodles of glycerin and depth. It is a beauty and a superb Zinfandel."

Vineyard Character
Dina’s Vineyard was planted by the Arata family nearly 100-years ago. Today only about five acres of gnarled, dry-farmed vines remain at the Arata home. The vines are predominantly head-trained. They are planted on the typical old-vine, eight-by-eight spacing, originally intended to allow horses to cultivate between the vines in both directions of the vineyard planting. A deep, dark color, coffee-like aromas, and dense, broad texture are all typical indicators of Dina’s Vineyard terroir.
